Employee Goals

What is Employee Goal?

Goals are observable and measurable end results. They may have one or more objectives to be achieved for the ultimate business growth. Goals are usually mostly broader in scope. They are relatively complex and have different paths with well-managed plans and their execution may lead to goal fulfillment.

Thus, for many employees, the concept of goals may be relatively abstract because they cannot immediately imagine what needs to be done to achieve such a pre-decided goal. And, you will hereby see what lies at the risk of having to work with the employee to determine the path to reach that goal.

Here are some examples of goals:

  • Increase sales by a certain percentage
  • Increase the number of candidates for a vacancy
  • Reduce turnover by a specific percentage
  • Complete a training course
