Weekly off is any day during the entire week when your employees are not expected to show up for work. Employees need a day to rest depending on the work they do. Many organizations allow their employees to rest for 1 or 2 days a week having their weekly offs on weekends.
However, some companies keep operating the whole week. In such cases, a group of different people is assigned to different weekly off days. Some have week-offs on weekends whereas others have week-offs on any other day of the week.
