What is Project Team?

A Project team is defined as an organized group of people involved in performing shared or individual tasks on the same project as well as achieving the goals and objectives of the project. The team consists of both full-time and part-time individuals. All of them are supposed to collaboratively work on producing the deliverables and moving the project towards successful completion.

When the individuals working on the project team are appropriate, all the roles are allocated adequately. Successful teams are the ones that work under the direction and supervision of project managers who oversee the work of the team leader and provide expert advice to team members. In this situation, the team works in collaboration with the managers.
