What is  Salary Variance Report?

Salary Variance Report is used to show the difference between employee salaries paid out to them in various months. It is used to identify mistakes in salary calculations. The salary variance report contains details of all deduction and earning components for every employee for a given month. It highlights the difference between amounts in each component.

For example, the Salary variance report shows an extra payment of Rs. 10,000 in the current month compared to the previous month even if the employee was not supposed to earn extra.
