What is Organization Development (OD)?

Organizational development, also known as OD, may refer to a planned and systematic approach to improving the effectiveness of a company, government department, or any organization. The strategy helps you align yourself with individuals and processes. It includes different processes with the practice of planned, systematic change in the values, attitudes, and beliefs of a company’s employees. And, this is achieved through the creation and reinforcement of medium or long-term training programs.

OD also tries to encompass the aligning of organizations with their complex and rapidly changing environments. And, all of this is achieved through organizational learning, knowledge management, and adapting organizational values and norms.
